A Perigee Moon

A couple of weeks ago I was up early.  Before-the-sun-comes-up early.  And I was blessed enough to see a perigee moon.

Okay, I don't know what that means, exactly, but the moon was much larger than normal.  I didn't see it as it rose in the east, but caught it in the western sky the next morning.  A NASA website I saw called it a Super Moon and I'd have to agree.  (Surely, all NASA personnel are breathing a sigh of relief that I am in agreement with them.)

A thin layer of fog was on the field.   Truly beautiful.
